It seems like a very obvious question but you've obviously decided that the manual will not be looked up no matter what. That is why we have this page. Well, your answer is in the bottom left corner of your keypad.
The "shift" key pressed once allows you to press a number rather than the character (eg 7). Pressing it twice will get you to LOCK the shift so that you can type a series of number (eg 0411110011).
