When you first open the package.. what did you love most about E71?

There are some things in a phone you just go, yeah ok that's nice. But then there are some features that just get you so excited you want to hug your sales person.

For some, it was the leather wallet that came with it. For you, it may be the GPS you didn't know was free to use (yes people, you dont need to pay for it!!) Or do you like the fact that you can check your email whereever you go? Ok it was a self explanatory title, so what did you like about your E71? Leave comments below..

Nokia E71 kicks in Q1 2009 for Nokia Corporation!

Here are some quotes taken TODAY from www.seekingalpha.com regarding Nokia's performance in the first quarter of 2009 as a company. In relation to the Nokia E71, this is what was said,

"While our N Series products delivered lower volumes than we expected in Q1, we are confident that our high end portfolio is headed in the right direction. Currently, the two fastest growing categories of the smartphone segment are touch screen and QWERTY and in these areas we have strong momentum, led by the Nokia 5800 and the Nokia E71."

"Our Eseries devices also continued solid performance in Q1, led by the Nokia E71. In fact, we shipped a record 3.3 million Eseries devices in Q1, which represents a year-over-year growth of approximately 85%.

We introduced the Nokia E75, our flagship email device and the Nokia E55, our most compact messaging device. Both of these products feature Nokia messaging, our new consumer messaging application. I really encourage you to try out the new Nokia messaging software. It’s a giant step forward, truly easy to use and set up and the user experience is fantastic."

- Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo (President & CEO of Nokia Corporation)

Make your Memory Photographic with E71

Did you ever to think using your camera as a quick way to remember something? You can automatically upload your photos from your phone to the computer via “STORE IMAGES” feature in the Nokia PC Suite. One cool thing that the PC Suite can do is when it stores new photos, they can load up those photos in the NOKIA multimedia player so you can see the pictures straight away. So weren't we talking about how it can work to remind you of something? Take a photo of the next thing you want to remind yourself of.

Lets say you have a bill that you need to pay online. Rather than set up a calendar reminder, you can take a photo of the bill and when you turn on your computer and your phone is nearby, the phone and computer will sync and automatically load up the picture of the bill that you need to pay. On seeing this you can remind yourself to pay the bill.
